Website updates! Cozy Corner Released and New Car News!

Cozy Corner?

Arctic Fox tilting head

Yes! You heard that right! The Cozy Corner has finally been released and updated! Featuring cool things such as Gecko's Gecko Facts, the long awaited Flamingo Quiz and page decor stuff!

Gecko's Gecko Facts are - as it sounds - REAL gecko facts made by REAL geckos! All you have to do is cycle through the hundreds of REAL gecko facts to find out all about geckos and how they're REALLY like! (For REAL!)

...

Okay they might not be 100% real, but STILL, don't you want to know what the secrets of geckos are?

Anyway, in other news! The Page Decor page will contain things that you can put on your OWN website and pages! Like blinkies, stamps, buttons, and graphics that I found while around the web! This page will possibly get updated with more of those website decorations too, so keep an eye out for that! :D

Soon, there will be other things there too! For example, some nostalgic things that you might smile over, and some... random reactions I have saved on my computer. Don't... uh, don't worry about the last one.

But those are just some of the ideas! The Cozy Corner is going to be the place I'll just dump fun and cozy things into! Hopefully you'll find it cozy and fun too! Enjoy the visit there! :D

New Car!

Wow! No way! Your favorite flam got a car! After many months and countless bolts, I finally saved up for a car! (At the time of writing this, however, it's already been about a year that I've owned the vehicle so uhhh-)

But! You're probably wondering what the heck it is! What kind of zoomie I got! (Do people call it that...? Has anyone ever called it that...? Uhh...) Well, I'll have you know, dear reader, that my new car is a Mini Cooper! Not just that, but a Mini Cooper Countryman! And if you're really interested in the specs, it's a 2013 Mini Cooper Countryman S all4 with a turbo and a whole whoppin' 1.6L engine!

...no I'm not going to explain what any of that means, mainly because I don't really know what it means. Just that it means :V

Anyway! I've taken this thing out for many spins and rides and have even taken some friends out for drives too! One in particular commented that inside the car smelled like tootsie rolls, so we ended up nicknaming the car Tootsie! Another name I like to call it is the Medium Cooper that me and my boyfriend came up with! It's not exactly... mini but it's not exactly massive either. It's just... medium. Hence, the "Tootsie" the Medium Cooper was born! :D

Alrighty! I think that's it for this thought dump for today! Hopefully I'll be able to write more! Buuuut... they don't call this the Dusty Blog for nothing! So... let's shoot for at least one more within the next two years, haha ^v^

Woah! A blog!

Surprise! New Blog!

What's this? A blog? Yes it is! I will be posting ramblings of various things such as nice memories, cool things, art updates, life stuff, and just... kinda having fun! None of the blog posts will be inherently serious or political, just cool - and hopefully entertaining - stuff! Today I will talk about what favorite animals I had growing up were! First up, first animal!

Deer and Fawn

From as far back as I could remember, deer were among the first animals I loved as a kid. This was mainly because of my absolute OBSESSION with Bambi. I used to watch that movie on repeat for DAYS. (I'm surprised my parents didn't wince any time they put the vhs into the VCR, lol) It came to a point where I used to roleplay the entirety of the movie with my younger sister, though we never finished the movie before we got bored and did something else. But that movie was the main cause of my love for deer, and still to this day I have a really nostalgic appreciation for them!

Over the next couple years, wolves and especially arctic foxes became my favorite! Back in 5th or 6th grade, I had to write an animal report, and I chose the arctic fox. I have since lost that report, and although it was only filled with basic information you can find by doing a quick Google search, I thought it to be fascinating at the time; and looking back, I bet it would be very nostalgic to reread! (If I find it, I'll make an update!)

In fact, my love for arctic foxes would later evolve into a desire to make a story that I'm still working on today! (As of writing this, the story is 14 years old!) You've probably already seen it on the main page, but it's called Wings of Aramba! A story imbued with magic and wonder that I hope to one day share here! ...You know, once I have everything organized and easy to read, lol.

Flamingo portrait

Finally, my most recent favorite animal is the flamingo! With the reason being... well, it's such a silly little bird... what's not to love?
