Woah! A blog!

Surprise! New Blog!

What's this? A blog? Yes it is! I will be posting ramblings of various things such as nice memories, cool things, art updates, life stuff, and just... kinda having fun! None of the blog posts will be inherently serious or political, just cool - and hopefully entertaining - stuff! Today I will talk about what favorite animals I had growing up were! First up, first animal!

Deer and Fawn

From as far back as I could remember, deer were among the first animals I loved as a kid. This was mainly because of my absolute OBSESSION with Bambi. I used to watch that movie on repeat for DAYS. (I'm surprised my parents didn't wince any time they put the vhs into the VCR, lol) It came to a point where I used to roleplay the entirety of the movie with my younger sister, though we never finished the movie before we got bored and did something else. But that movie was the main cause of my love for deer, and still to this day I have a really nostalgic appreciation for them!

Arctic Fox tilting head

Over the next couple years, wolves and especially arctic foxes became my favorite! Back in 5th or 6th grade, I had to write an animal report, and I chose the arctic fox. I have since lost that report, and although it was only filled with basic information you can find by doing a quick Google search, I thought it to be fascinating at the time; and looking back, I bet it would be very nostalgic to reread! (If I find it, I'll make an update!)

In fact, my love for arctic foxes would later evolve into a desire to make a story that I'm still working on today! (As of writing this, the story is 14 years old!) You've probably already seen it on the main page, but it's called Wings of Aramba! A story imbued with magic and wonder that I hope to one day share here! ...You know, once I have everything organized and easy to read, lol.

Finally, my most recent favorite animal is the flamingo! With the reason being... well, it's such a silly little bird... what's not to love?
